My little granddaughter, Coco, is CRAZY for ‘Cornies’ – that’s what she calls unicorns. She was a unicorn for Halloween, we sent her a Unicorn ‘dress’ and a unicorn purse for Christmas – her mom got her a unicorn bedspread and a plethora of stuffed unicorns.
I also have a daughter that LOVES Magic – She grew up devouring the Harry Potter books and has read them over and over and over! We were at our semi-annual Johnson Pups reunion in the summer of 2007 and the Deathly Hallows had just come out and she could NOT put it down. Needless to say, she missed out on swimming in the Firehole river in Yellowstone National Park with the rest of us, but didn’t care one little bit.
Kayla designed her Mythical Beasts Jelly Bean Pillow Pattern to include all of her favorite magical animals: Starting in the middle and going around the circle – Unicorn, Jackalope, Werewolf, Dragon, Yeti and Phoenix.
She created a downloadable version of the pattern too so you can bring the magic into your home right away. Clicking on this box below will take you to the pattern on our website.
We are often asked what fabrics we use for the pillows – all of them came from Shannon Fabrics – they are super soft and snuggly. We just added the kits for all of the pillows to our website too – if you click on any of the pictures below – in theory – it should take you to the kit for that pillow.
And my personal favorite – the Yeti – we have tried many different fabrics for this guy – Our kits come with White Llama fabric – but you can make him any color.
Our kits are just $25 each and it includes the full color printed version of the pattern and all the fabrics you will need to complete the pattern. If you want to make two different pillows – you can use the the code 2JBKITS – that stands for Two Jellybean kits – in the promo box and get $5 off the second kit.
I wanted to share a cute little poster from Jane Lee Logan with her lessons from a unicorn!
I think I find magic in nature – I was lucky enough to go to Cabo San Lucas in February before everything shut down – the sunsets were truly magical. You can download this for free from our website.
And … just FYI … when someone told me that I live in a fantasy world, I nearly fell off my unicorn!
Go out and be a unicorn in a field full of horse!
