We discoved a fun and easy way to make a beautiful skirt that only looks complicated! We used Ruffle Fabric(™) which is a pre-ruffled knit fabric. It comes in lots of varieties from a small lightweight ruffle, to a heavier wider ruffle, to a varigated ruffle that goes from small to wide, as well as stretch lace fabrics. These fabrics allow you to make a skirt in a flash that looks like it took forever, but it is really a sinch! You can get this awesome fabric on the Ruffle Fabric website. All of the pictures above were made using different types of ruffle fabric and our new patterns. We also designed our third free pattern in our trio of free patterns to be released at Quilt Festival in Houston.

Adult Skirt Patterns

There are three different skirts each with multiple variations, from length, to direction of fabric, to type of fabric, which will make many different adorable skirts. And as promised we did create a free pattern that uses this fun Ruffle Fabric(™) and a cute t-shirt of your choice! I designed the pattern to make an easy maxi dress for my daughter, but you can use the same method to make a dress for yourself too!
