It’s the first week of October! So naturally, we’re talking about thanksgiving. I wish I could say I’m kidding, and while we will still be talking about Halloween in the coming month, we wanted to feature our Gobble ‘till ya wobble pattern now so you will still have time to make a blanket or any other project your heart desires in time for the holiday.
We originally released the Gobble ‘till ya wobble way back in 2013 at the same time that we released the Tricks and Treats and Joy to the World Template packs. It was incredibly popular, and although we re-stocked our kits twice, we sold out both times. I think it was that super furry turkey that made this pattern so irresistible. I mean, obviously that face is cute, but that fluffy body is down right adorable! We used caramel rose cuddle for the turkey body and a mix of other cuddle fabrics for the feathers. You can find a complete list of the fabrics we used in the pattern.
Not interested in making an entire blanket? How cute would that turkey be hanging on a door or appliqued onto a pillow? You could easily use the leaves as appliques on a table runner and the ship would look down right adorable on a onesie. The options truly are endless. You can pick up the pattern by just clicking the “buy now” button below.
We will get back to Halloween décor and ideas next week but don’t forget that our Halloween Quilt Kits are still on sale using the code HALLOWEENKIT10. There is definitely still time to make any one of these adorable blankets.
As always,
Happy Sewing
Nice post! Love your turkey.
Thank you! We are pretty fond of him too. 🙂
